The devastation of Second World War had a serious
impact on British ceramics industry; however, Jessie Tait who created some of the best known and most innovative ceramic designs of the 1950s did not be affected because she always leading the trend.
Through reading the book, 20TH CENTURY CERAMIC DESIGNER IN BRITAIN, I got some inspiration to create the cup of Eleven Four.
